Why the Virtual Training Center?

All of our coaches have tons of real life coaching experience but we know there is something missing in the online space for people looking for good training, great information, and a community to train with!  We believe that anyone who puts an effort into their discipline can be an athlete. It’s why we are partnering with lifelong coaches and athletes to bring you the best training for just about any goal. From running an ultra marathon to improving your vertical jump, there will be something here for you!

What is the Virtual Training Center?

The sports, performance, and fitness world is changing every day and while all of the coaches that are a part of this project have used physical training spaces for most of our career we see the opportunity to serve athletes of all levels all over the world.  If you don’t have the community you need to support you locally, we hope you’ll consider working with us.   We will treat every member as a big part of this small community and know that just posting shirtless pics in the gym isn’t attracting the types of athletes we want to attract.  We want driven people who want accountability and are willing to work for their goals!  Join us and get trained.

The Coaches

Scott has his M.S. in exercise science and is a serial entrepreneur and the founder of Athlete On Fire. He has trained top tier athletes who’ve competed at the Olympics (you’ll meet her below) and professional sports along with everyday people getting ready for their first 5k. With over 20 years of experience training runners and other athletes of all abilities, this platform is built to add value to your runs, rides, adventures, sport, and life. The workouts will be fun, challenging, and we know you’ll love the diversity and community we are building here!

Sammy is a 2021 Tokyo Olympian in the sport of Modern Pentathlon (fencing, swimming, equestrian, shooting, and running). She was born and raised in Littleton, Colorado before moving to Colorado Springs in 2010 to pursue training with Team USA at the Olympic Training Center. She joined the US Army in 2017 and is a part of the World Class Athlete Program. Sammy completed her bachelor’s degree while training as a full-time athlete and in the US Army. She pursued a certification in Pilates after many injuries in 2011 and hip surgery in 2012. She found Pilates to be extremely helpful with her recovery and rehab after surgery. 

Not only is she a Tokyo Olympian, but she is a seven-time US National champion and multiple world and national team member in the sport of pentathlon. During her time as an athlete, she has had to overcome and work through many injuries. This has led her to expanding her knowledge and skills with the impact that lifting, strength & conditioning, mobility, warming up and building up a strong foundation in the gym can do for your body. She is currently studying to become a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.

Aaron has been training for almost 20 years. He is currently working out of Midwest Athletic Performance under “Lambo Brand” in Cincinatti. He trains a wide variety of clients including youth, college, and professional athletes as well as adult fitness clients.

“My training philosophy includes a wide variety of styles based on what each individual clients goals may be but mainly utilize methods to harness maximum strength and power output. I believe in progressive overload techniques as well as volume training.”

Lauren Jones grew up in Littleton, CO and has been running, biking and hiking the front range trails for over 20 years!  She has her degree in exercise science and sports performance and has been working as a trainer and coach for 15 years.  Lauren is the mother of 2 active little boys and is the founder of Life’s 2 Short Fitness.  She is passionate about introducing women to new sports and empowering them to overcome obstacles, build confidence and explore the outdoor world.
