Patrick Mies II – Mustaches and misery
If you’ve ever done a Goruck in Texas or been at the Death Race, there’s a very high probability that you have met or at least seen Patrick Mies II in action.
Welder by day, fan of weight and misery by night, he’s a man with an unnerving fascination with seeking out discomfort and becoming friends with it. As such, here at Team SISU, we felt the The Iron would be the perfect opportunity for him to share experiences, values and just a little bit of the misery with those who will take part in the 2016 event. With a wealth of experience from various endurance events to draw upon, the staff at Team SISU is looking forward to watching him bring his mustache and misery to the next Iron.
In this episode, our host Cookie talks to the Texan about training, nutrition, how to survive long endurance events and what to expect at the SISU Iron 2016.
